Finance Manager/Management Accountant

Our client is a highly successful boutique Global Investment Manager. They are growing their Australian team with an experienced Finance Manager /Accountant who can focus their efforts on managing and enhancing the company budgets and finances. 

This role would be part-time (20 hours) per week, with the potential for the hours to increase over time. 

This role will suit a qualified accountant with broad experience across financial and management accounting and proven experience implementing processes and procedures.


Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Overseeing the financial operations of the company
• Generate and develop internal/external financial management reports such as income sheets, balance sheets, quarterly reviews and annual reports
• Monthly budgeting, monitoring cash balances, and cash forecasting
• Overseeing accounts payable, processing and filing, & expense and credit card processing for the firm
• Managing third party functions from time to time

To be successful you must have: 

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Experience as a finance manager in a private equity, family office, or hedge fund will be viewed favourably 
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Demonstrable ability in a broad or stand-alone role
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines
