HR Manager | 12 Month Contract
Due to significant growth and after winning numerous state tenders this construction business is seeking an experienced HR Generalist
to join their team during a period of expansion to create, define and deliver HR processes across the business.
Projected to double in revenue over the next year your role will be to ensure employee satisfaction and engagement is high. Currently in the process of applying for an ISO accreditation you will play an integral role in this by delivering on multiple HR projects and owning the people piece of this successful business. You will be a strong generalist in your field responsible for:
Company Values, Culture & Engagement
Champion company culture and develop strategies to improve employee engagement and business brand in the market Employee Relations:
Provide counselling, mediation and advice to employees Learning & Development:
Develop and maintain adequate induction and continual training process, support and nurture opportunities for personal development Performance Management:
Take ownership and drive the Performance Review and Development process across the organisation, coaching managers Remuneration & Rewards:
Determine suitable salaries in line with the market, research and implement non-monetary benefits for employees Recruitment:
Ensure the delivery of proactive recruitment processes and management of budget- growing the business headcount by 20% Succession Management:
Facilitate review discussions with senior leaders and identify areas of risk and recommend actions.
In all these areas of responsibility you will be required to ensure effective processes, systems & tools are available working closely with leaders of the business.
Skills & experience required:
- 5+ years’ experience as a HR Generalist
- Previous experience in an HR Management position with an organisation of ideally 50 - 100 employees (construction/ trades industry would be ideal)
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
- Previous experience in creating and designing HR processes
- Proactive attitude and ability to think outside the box
- Must thrive working in a hands-on team environment
